The Business Development Board of Martin County (BDBMC) is pleased to announce that PeakVision Sports Eyewear has relocated to Stuart, Florida, from Overland Park, Kansas. The BDBMC began working with the company when Paul Moore, PeakVision Founder/CEO, contacted the organization’s office in search of a location. The BDBMC immediately coordinated a site visit and provided several existing buildings as options, and ultimately the company chose the Treasure Coast Park of Commerce off Jack James Drive.

"Without question our move to Martin County was facilitated by the remarkable assistance provided by the BDBMC; a great asset to Martin County," Moore said.

PeakVision produces premium sunglasses featuring the company's proprietary, patented Dual-Zone/Zero- DistortionTM lens technology that focuses on superior vision in outdoor activities. Over the past 10 years, PeakVision has become "The Most Highly Recommended Sunglasses in Golf," as their lens technology has proven to improve vision for every aspect of golf, tee-to-green. The company's relocation to Stuart coincides with the launch of PEAK Polar2, a new polarized version of their Dual-Zone lens technology that is perfect for marine interests.

This year the company partnered with Jack Nicklaus and the Nicklaus Companies to design and promote Jack Nicklaus/Golden Bear Sunglasses brands, both domestically and globally. PeakVision's Jack Nicklaus Eyewear collection consists of seven premium sunglass models that retail from $95 to $200. The collaboration and custom eyewear collection benefits the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. The global headquarters of both the Nicklaus Companies and the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation are located within 25 miles of PeakVision’s new office.

“Jack Nicklaus is widely regarded as the greatest golfer of all-time and the most successful golf course designer in the world,” adds Moore. “We honor his superior sportsmanship, personal values and design acumen with eyewear marked by that inimitable Nicklaus style.”

Prescription models available in both the PeakVision and Nicklaus Eyewear lines are produced exclusively by Essilor, the world’s leading optical lens and laboratory. Prescription models range from $429 to $489.

“Martin County is the perfect location for PeakVision’s Headquarters,” said Tim Dougher, Executive Director, BDBMC. “Whether you’re a boater, golfer or simply enjoy seeing life better, the company has a superior product for outdoor activities. The partnership between PeakVision and Nicklaus is an important one in the industry and for Paul, and we look forward to continuing to work with the company on future expansion.”
