— HR Martin County, in association with the Martin County School Board, is excited to be hosting the 11th Annual Steps to Success Program. This event brings together 140 select students from the five high schools in Martin County. The event will feature topics including; Resume Writing (when you have little or no work history), Appropriate Use of Technology in the Workplace ( Facebook, Twitter and Texting), Customer Service (How to Communicate Professionally with Customers and Clients) and Pursuing Your Passion. The speakers will be from Martin Memorial Health Systems, Workforce Solutions and the Business Development Board of Martin County.

While some students will be entering the workforce directly from High School and some students will go on to College, all students will be able to take what they learn and implement it in their lives. The goal is to prepare them for what will be expected of them when they leave school.

The Steps to Success Program, originally scheduled for April 15, has been rescheduled to April 21, at the IRSC Wolf Technology Center in Stuart.
