STUART — The Business Development Board of Martin County announced that four Martin County companies are recipients of the 2010 Governor’s Business Diversification Awards, a statewide program that recognizes Florida companies in emerging and high-technology industries for their contributions to Florida’s economic growth.

The Business Development Board of Martin County (BCBMC) today received word that four (4) Martin County companies are recipients of the 2010 Governor’s Business Diversification Awards, a statewide program that recognizes Florida companies in emerging and high-technology industries for their contributions to Florida’s economic growth.  Coordinated by Enterprise Florida, the awards presentation is held by the Governor annually during Florida’s Industry Appreciation Week (September 20-24, 2010) in Tallahassee.

Sheet Metal Unlimited, an affiliate of Waterblasting Technologies, expands in Martin County

The Business Development Board of Martin County is pleased to announce the expansion of Sheet Metal Unlimited, a general fabrication and machine shop partly owned by James Crocker, CEO of Waterblasting Technologies and Jose Guch, the company’s president. The company, which currently employs 22, has entered into a lease-purchase agreement for space located at 3920 SE Commerce Street as part of the expansion.
