Through collaboration with local, regional, state and federal economic development allies, the Business Development Board makes available training and sought after resources to existing companies to facilitate their growth. Maintaining strong partnerships with local, state and federal business support agencies allows us to bring home programs and services to benefit our existing companies.

BDBMC regularly calls on our existing companies to identify potential issues and work with companies to resolve them. Expansions are identified in advance, and support and resources are aligned to facilitate them. Annually, BDBMC hosts its Business Appreciation Luncheon to recognize outstanding businesses in the community. Learn More. The BDBMC also nominates local award winners to the Governor’s Excellence Awards. For two consecutive years, Martin County had the most award recipients of any other county in the state (2008 & 2009).
